Fundraising Projects Coordinator - Partnerships 

The Partnerships Project Coordinator plays a vital role in stewarding both people and process. They manage a defined portfolio of mid-level donor relationships, providing warm, consistent engagement and helping supporters feel known, valued, and connected to Tearfund’s mission. Alongside this, they bring strength, organisation, and rhythm to the Partnerships team through project coordination, CRM discipline, and event delivery.

This role is ideal for someone who loves detail and people in equal measure, someone who enjoys organising events, keeping things on track, noticing what others might miss, and helping a team do their best work. Relationship Manager - Partnerships (Major Donors)

The Relationship Manager stewards a portfolio of major supporters, building genuine, long-term relationships grounded in trust and a shared purpose. This is relational ministry.

They meet people where they are at, over coffee, in homes, churches, at events, and sometimes in places where Tearfund works overseas, listening to their stories, sharing about our work and discerning how they might be invited into deeper partnership.

The role will include stewarding relationships across a range of expressions, including major giving, events, church engagement, corporate partnerships, and Leave a Legacy (Gifts in Wills) conversations, always handled gently, respectfully, and at the right pace.

They will be entrusted with both people and stories, and with the responsibility to steward both with care. This role stewards relational excellence and is key to driving the income that fuels Tearfund’s mission. Apply on SEEK here.

Background Checks

The safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults is central to the work that we do. Background checks will assist Tearfund to have confidence that our representatives can be trusted to have contact with children and vulnerable adults and handle their sensitive information appropriately. This is one of many steps undertaken by the organisation to support the safety of children and vulnerable adults. Candidates should note that any offer of work (including employment, volunteer and contract work) will be subject to the satisfactory completion of;

  1. A self-declaration process
  2. A criminal records/police check
  3. Two reference verifications
