How it Works

Tearfund partners with Compassion International to offer children in need of a hope more powerful than poverty. There’s nothing better than knowing you’re making a real difference in the life of a child.

Here’s how it works:

Step 1 Choose a child

Choose the child you’d like to connect with and sponsor them. They’ll attend a programme run by the local church to learn, grow, play and develop.

Step 2 Build a relationship

Get to know your sponsored child through letter-writing. It’s quick and easy to write online, and letters have a powerful effect.
