Thank you for joining us at our Annual Modern Slavery Update Evening.

We hope the stories you heard gave you a deeper understanding of the progress being made, the challenges that remain, and the incredible work of local leaders walking alongside communities every day. This journey isn't over, and we'd love for you to continue being part of it. Our faith reminds us that every person has God-given worth and value, which is why we partner with local organisations helping communities become safer, supporting survivors as they rebuild their lives, and creating opportunities for people to thrive.

Change happens when people choose to stand alongside local leaders, share these stories with others, and help grow a community committed to freedom, dignity, and justice. Whether that's opening your home, introducing a friend, joining a future event, travelling with us to deepen your understanding of the challenges communities face, or supporting the work financially, there are many ways to continue making a difference.

Invite others into the story. Bring together friends, family, your church, or your workplace for a conversation about modern slavery, local partnership, and the difference we can make together. We'll support you with resources, speakers, and event planning.

Explore justice in action. Gather a small group for an immersive experience focused on Tearfund's partnership with LIFT Thailand. Become detectives through a live, interactive scenario (based on a real trafficking situation) to discover how traffickers are being tracked down and brought to justice  and survivors are supported through prevention, protection, policy, and partnership 

Some of our most impactful supporter initiatives have started with a simple conversation. If you have a vision, an opportunity, or a network you'd like to engage, we'd love to explore your creative ideas with you.

Gather friends, family, or colleagues around a table and help introduce new people to Tearfund's Modern Slavery work through meaningful conversation and connection.

 Tour of New Zealand - Cycle for freedom 
Get involved in this cycling challenge to raise awareness and funding for modern slavery prevention and survivor support initiatives. 

 Nepal Partner Visit - February 2027 
Travel with Tearfund to Nepal and meet the communities and local leaders creating lasting change firsthand.
