Lillian Mugisha knows firsthand how sponsorship can help change the course of a child’s life. Growing up in Uganda, she experienced deep poverty, loss and hardship. At nine, she joined Compassion’s local church-based child development programme. With the encouragement and support of her sponsor and her local church, Lillian was able to continue her education and earn a degree in Mass Communication.

Today, Lillian is an inspiring speaker with a powerful story of faith and the lasting impact of sponsorship. She works for Compassion Uganda, welcoming and guiding people who travel to meet the children they support.
