Joining the Dots:

A 40 day challenge of reflections and actions for living well

The Joining the Dots study is a way to start the Tearfund Catalyst journey and will give you an insight into what being part of this network might be like. This 40-day study series is sent via email, and acts as a quick start guide to being a Catalyst for change to global justice issues.

Joining the Dots will guide you through an examination of how your lifestyle habits are linked to global injustices and how they impact the earth and its people. Throughout the study, you will be encouraged to make changes in your life that alleviate the barriers to empowerment faced by vulnerable communities, and to speak up against injustice. At the end of the study, there will be time to reflect and decide on your next steps as a Catalyst.

Take Action:

Use your pen, your time, and your purchasing power

One key action you can take is to simply talk about and raise awareness for global justice issues with your neighbours, friends, and family. If you know any influential people, you could reach out to them and ask them to use their networks to discuss issues they are particularly passionate about. You could also write a letter or email; your local MPs are there to represent you at a policy level. Write to them about issues that you care about, and see what changes can be made in our government to respond to those issues.
