VOTE FOR THE POOR THIS ELECTION
As responsible Christians and citizens, we should value the gift of a stable democracy and use our two votes as wisely as possible on November 8.
This means being well informed, looking at the big picture and voting all your values not just focusing on one or two issues. It means voting for good policies rather than voting negatively to punish a party you don't like. Find out where the parties stand on helping the poor, the hungry, the sick and the oppressed both here in Aotearoa NZ and overseas. Vote for candidates who care about the needy rather than those who try to bribe you with a few extra bucks in your pocket. Vote on behalf of those who are least able to help themselves… it's what Jesus would do! For more information check out the Micah Challenge website: www.micahchallenge.org.nz
