In November2012, TEAR Fund and Laidlaw College will conduct a joint study tour to the Holy Land. The focus of the trip will be educational, and is not your normal luxury or pilgrimage tour. However, it will take in areas of significance to the Christian faith.
Participants will spend 18 days in the Holy Land visiting and learning about significant places, worshipping with different congregations – messianic and Palestinian. It will also involve a Palestinian home-stay with a Christian family, seeing some of the work peacemakers are involved in, and the chance to learn from some of the best scholars in the area.
If you are a team person, patient, of average or better fitness, not fussy about food and accommodation, have an open mind and are willing to learn and be challenged, this trip may be ideal for you. To register your interest, email enquiries@tearfund.org.nz
