Walking in partnership is not just about organising another event to add to your church calendar. You can look for creative ways to invite your global partner into the existing rhythm of your church. Use opportunities like Sunday services, conferences, Mothers Day, Easter and Christmas to share the partnership story.
Your Global Church Partnership will help you to see God at work. The more you invest, the more transformational it will become both in their village and yours.
 
Use TEAR Fund’s extensive tools and resources to get everyone involved. The profile and values of programmes such as Child Sponsorship and TEAR Fund events, means participation can extend to include individuals, schools and other local groups outside your church.
Your church could:
• Host a TEAR Fund speaker or take part in events and campaigns
• Encourage people to take action by sponsoring a child
• Collectively sponsor a Leadership Development Programme student
• Support a Child Survival Programme or a Trustbank
• Raise funds to support TEAR Fund’s effort in tackling an issue like Human Trafficking
• Provide prayer and encouragement for the leadership of your partner church through direct communication
